The Houston Black Heritage Festival is held annually at various locations in Downtown Houston. The Festival is an all-weekend cultural experience that promotes diversity and cultural sensitivity filled with performances, art, guest speakers, exhibits, poets, crafts people and world-renown musical entertainers. This year’s Festival will take place the weekend of October 5, 2019 on two city blocks in front of Toyota Center, Root Square Park & 1317 Austin Street, and is expected to draw over 50,000 participants.
