The Annual Houston Black Heritage Music & Arts Festival (HBHMAF) is a cultural experience that promotes diversity and cultural sensitivity filled with performances, visual artists & crafts people, speakers, exhibits, poets and world-renown musical entertainers.

The 2018 Festival was an all-weekend affair having taken place Aug. 10th-12th at various locations around Houston, including:

Friday, A Day of Service, August 10, 2018

HBHMAF joined with Volunteers of America and T-Mobile to provide food, backpacks and school supplies to families affected by Hurricane Harvey one year earlier.

Saturday at The Festival! August 11, 2018

5-time Grammy Award-winning singer Lalah Hathaway and Stokley Williams headlined the 2018 Music Fest  See this year’s collection of vendors, performers, fashionistas, & more!

Sunday, A Day of Inspiration, August 12, 2018

HBHMAF paid tribute to the sudden passing of formerCity Councilman Larry Green who was an ardent supporter of The Festival at Kingdom Builders in Southwest Houston.
