The Annual Houston Black Heritage Music & Arts Festival (HBHMAF) is a cultural experience that promotes diversity and cultural sensitivity filled with performances, visual artists & crafts people, speakers, exhibits, poets and world-renown musical entertainers.
The 2018 Festival was an all-weekend affair having taken place Aug. 10th-12th at various locations around Houston, including:

HBHMAF joined with Volunteers of America and T-Mobile to provide food, backpacks and school supplies to families affected by Hurricane Harvey one year earlier.

HBHMAF paid tribute to the sudden passing of formerCity Councilman Larry Green who was an ardent supporter of The Festival at Kingdom Builders in Southwest Houston.
